=========================================
I use spreadsheets much more than anything else, so I am not certain if this applies to the other LibreOffice applications too. Everything in Calc is working fine, but... The first time of each session on the computer that I open a spreadsheet I get a popup saying LibreOffice crashed last time it was run, and asking if I want to send a crash report. I did a time or few at first, figuring no way I was the only one getting this and it would probably be solved soon. Anyway, I don't restart in safe mode, I just continue and everything works as it should. Well, it seems it hasn't been fixed, so here I am. Everything about LibreOffice is fine as frog hair, working perfectly all along, except for this false crash report I get the first time I open a spreadsheet each session. And my apologies if this has been fixed in 7.4.2.3. I'll update soon. Probably... ;-)

Could you give a try at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ?
Comment 2 Carl 2022-10-22 03:20:30 UTC
I updated to 7.4.2.3, made sure it was working, and rebooted the machine, because the false crash report only appeared at the first opening of a LibreOffice app per session at the computer. Presto, no crash report! All is well, and as promised, I apologize for starting a bug report before I realized I wasn't running the current version. It won't happen again.

Great! Thank you for the feedback, let’s put this one to WFM then.

FWIW the backtrace points to the problem eventually fixed by https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=05b2bfc289df8712097cc1e640bf7d3bc6b86a84
