Description: In Ubuntu 22.10 Libreoffice is updated to 7.4.2~rc3-0ubuntu1. In this version the Autofilter object in Calc has changed. The input field "search items..." in Autofilter isn't available any more. This means you can't filter the (possibly long) items list easily, but need to use the very inconvenient standard filter. This "bug" doesn't exist in the Windows version of Libreoffice 7.4.2.3 and in older versions of Libreoffice for Ubuntu. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create some data table in a Calc spreadsheet, a 2 columns and 3 lines table is good enough 2. Click on of the cells of the first (header) line of this table 3. Choose Data > AutoFilter (AutoFilter will be created for the header line automaticly) 4. Open Autofilter Actual Results: The Autofilter menu doesn't show the input field "search items...". Expected Results: The input field is available in older versions or in the latest version 7.4.2.3 for Windows. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I can reproduce this bug with a fresh new installation of ubuntu 22.10 as well as in an existing installation which first has been purged (apt purge) and reinstall afterwards.
I was going to report this too. I found this search feature incredibly useful when the number of unique values to filter on is large.
