Description:
For my Master thesis my Prof. wishes to make the distance between the symbol and index smaller. The affected component of Libre Office is LO Math.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open LO Math
2.Type: T_g
3.Try to shorten the Distance between T and g

Actual Results:
a

Expected Results:
a

It's true that Format > Spacing, using the Indexes Category, does not allow changing the horizontal spacing.

Does using csub help?
E.g.:

T csub g

One way to adress this properly is by implmenting MATH font table support (bug 103680) and the subscript should be positioned properly when using appropriate marh font, but that is not a small amount of work.
