Description: I'm trying to copy a bulleted list from LO Writer to a HTML Rich Text Editor form and I'm getting tabs (ASCII 9) inserted in odd spots. For instance, if I have "A few utility belts, thick enough" in a bulleted list, copy, and paste into Firefox, it comes out "A few utility <TAB>belts, thick enough." (where <TAB> is the ASCII character) How can I stop the insert of those TAB characters? Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a bulleted list with text 2. Copy/Paste it (using menus or Control-C/Control-P) to a web page that allows editing with formatting (example: Patreon's text post editor) 3. Examine the odd formatting Actual Results: Formatting is sprinkled with ASCII Tab (9) characters Expected Results: No tabs, just spaces. Formatting is similar to that in Writer. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: LO 7.3.7.2, Firefox 109, Linux Mint XFCE 21.1
Which editor is that? I tried in a new HTML email in Thunderbird, as well as this rich text editor in Firefox: https://html-online.com/editor/ And on CryptPad as well, and could not reproduce. Also, please copy and paste the full information from "Help > About LibreOffice" here, and test a version that will see further versions released (7.4 or above). Thank you!
Version: 7.3.7.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 30(Build:2) CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 1:7.3.7-0ubuntu0.22.04.1 Calc: threaded I was pasting into Patreon's editor, which (given some digging around) is React and Draft.js combined. Is there a Debian/Ubuntu PPA for the latest stable versions of LO?

Thank you for reporting the bug. I can confirm that the bug is present in Version: 7.3.7.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 30(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 1:7.3.5-0ubuntu0.22.04.1 Calc: threaded This issue is happening on Patreon's blog editor when in edit mode. When the user saves the text, the spaces are not present until it is modified. However, I also found that the spaces do disappear when the following happens from LibreOffice to an HTML Rich Text Editor form 1. Create a bullet list. 2. Select the entire bullet list. 3. Right-click and select 'Clear Direct Formatting 4. Select 'Paste Special -->Unformatted Text 5. Right-click again and select List -->No List 6. Right-click to Copy 7. Navigate to the post like Patreon and paste. The tabs do not appear.

Not everyone has access to Patreon's blog editor, so we need some freely available solution to test. An example document would also be needed. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information and document.
