Version: 7.4.4.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 40(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.0; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: uk-UA (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Debian package version: 1:7.4.4~rc2-2+b2 Calc: threaded Font Name, Font Size and Font "Style" (Bold, Italic, Underline) changes applied to a column do not change all the content of selected cells. Ukrainian language/Cyrillic font used. Some cells have two or more "sentences" with different font properties (font name, font size, etc). Once changes applied to the set of cells (column) - I see that many cells still have some part of a cell formatted with an old font settings. As a workaround I need to select singe cell and change font properties once again.
Created attachment 185130 [details] a few font names, italic and underline applied to every cell. Changing font name, triggering italic and underline to columbs and back does not change all the selected content/
simply, font formatting applied to single cell acts properly/ font formatting applied to a set of cells doesn't work. I observe this behavior since I have started to use Calc intensively - since September.
One more observation: when I select the cell with mixed fonts, Font Name menu does not became blank as it imho should became. This behavior may be the source of incomplete Font Name and Font attributes modification for the set of cells.
Reproduced in: Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: b52117c0be97c45824d2897657084f8ac7e9bf42 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Version: 6.0.0.3 Build ID: 64a0f66915f38c6217de274f0aa8e15618924765 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2; Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); Calc: group I need to clear direct formatting before being able to change the formatting of whole selections. Otherwise, applying changes in formatting of multi-cell selection is very erratic and unpredictable in this file (no change to formatting, or change only in certain cells, or even applying a different change than the one clicked...) Saving as ODS and reloading does not fix the issue. This is very similar to what is described in bug 39969 and bug 108391. I also tested OOo 3.3, in which I can't format any cell or selection. At least the behaviour back then was consistent and not completely unpredictable. OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 OOO330m20 (Build:9567)
