I sent a file written with LibreOffice, saved in docx and with footnotes for reviewing. The file was saved in docx and sent. When I got back the file with comments and track changes the footnotes' order was a complete mess, and whenever I re-opened the file the order also was changed. I never encountered that problem before, I use Libre Office Version 7.4.5.1 and Ubuntu 20.04 Mate 1.26. Appreciate any help B.

Dear Stéphane, thank you for quick response. Yes, indeed, I encountered the same problem as Mr. Carvalho. My file is rather big, so I did not want to bother you. But trying to make it smaller, I deleted the first pages, saved it. When trying to re-open it, I got the following error message: SAXException: [word/document.xml line 2]: opening and ending tag mismatch: rPr line 2 and ins at/run/build/libreoffice/sax/source/fastparser/fastparser/ocxx:615 Maybe this is of help. Afterwards the content of the file was gone... I am using the German version of LO 7.5.0.3. via Flatpak on my desktop and LO 7.4.5.1 on my laptop downloaded via the regular Ubuntu repository. Same problem... I hope this is enough info. I never had to report a bug before, after all it is a great software. Thanks again Bülent
