Description Sandeep Shampur 2023-02-10 13:22:11 UTC
Description:
The text in Kannada language is shown correctly while editing (refer to attachment Editing.jpg). The text is showing with proper spacing and font. But when the 'Slide Show' is selected, the text is incorrectly rendered (refer to attachment SlideShow.jpg). The .odp file to reproduce is attached as Bug.odp. This occurs on different systems and so it is not related user profile.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Bug.odp file
2. Notice that the text in Kannada language is rendered correctly.
3. Now click on "Slide Show->Start from first slide".
4. Notice that the text is incorrectly rendered.

Actual Results:
The kannada text is rendered incorrectly with spaces and different font.

Expected Results:
The Kannada language text should be rendered in the same way as it is shown in edit mode.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The Kannada language text should be rendered in the same way as it is shown in edit mode.

Does not seem to be strictly related to Skia, if you disable Skia and also disable USe hardware acceleration, the bug shows up as well.
