Was just on a call with a partner who couldn't discover that if you double-click the fields in each of the boxes in the pivot-table dialog you get a ton of powerful options associated with each of these. It would be lovely to add a gear/settings icon next to each of those fields with a button so you can click it - not adding anything new - but just so this is discoverable. Dennis - any chance you could do some code poking to estimate that; it might make a nice easy-hack. Heiko - you prolly have a view on this too =)
How about bug 131654 attachment 160522 [details]? Admittedly, I don't understand why double click aka applying Data Field calculation on row/column works and what effect is should have. For Data Field it's crucial, of course.
