Rohingya is an eastern Indo-Aryan language spoken in northern Rakhine State (Arakan) in Burma / Myanmar and in the neighbouring Chiittagong Division of Bangladesh. Why? Also, a written script for Rohingya named the Hanifi Rohingya script was developed in 1980: https://omniglot.com/writing/hanifi.htm so it's not as though Rohingya could be subsumed by Arabic or something.

Because we do not add all existing 1800 languages to the list? If needed one can enter the language tag rhg-MM in the CTL language list's combobox and hit Enter. Next time it will be displayed as "Rohingya (Myanmar [Burma]) {rhg-MM}". Or rhg-Rohg-MM for "Rohingya (Hanifi, Myanmar [Burma]) {rhg-Rohg-MM}" Since LibreOffice 7.5 the assignment to CTL vs Western also works as intended, automatically. Additionally there's the acor_*.dat file language tag mechanism to permanently add it to an installation.
