Description: Those of us in the financial world use 10 key devices normally. A 10 key device works with money formats and automatically formats input for currency values by placing a decimal point, comma or whatever the locale uses in their money format. Having to place the decimal in a value is very clumsy. It would be very handy for those of us in the financial world to have the spreadsheet automatically insert the decimal into the value we enter. Excel has the feature but it's very clumsy because it does it to the whole sheet. We need to be able to format a column, row or range so that values entered become financially formatted without entering the decimal point or comma. Usually sheets with financial data have a mixture of numeric and currency data so formatting a range would be very desirable. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set a format 2.Enter data 3. Actual Results: 12345 Expected Results: 123.45 Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: 10 key users will have a difficult time adopting LibreOffice.
I see from Google users have requested this feature numerous time with no results.
This seems an interesting feature. Let's hear from the UX team.
