Description: In two places in LO UI, the string "Adobe PDF-Document" is used. PDF is an ISO standard since 2008 and no longer the property of Adobe Inc. Unless these strings refer to some Adobe-specific extensions to the ISO standard, the strings should be changed to "PDF Document". (Omitting the dash is also the more usual English spelling). Steps to Reproduce: 1. See https://translations.documentfoundation.org/languages/en/libo_ui-master/search/?offset=1&q=adobe+pdf&sort_by=-priority%2Cposition&checksum= Actual Results: "Adobe PDF-Document" is used. Expected Results: "PDF Document" is used. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: n/a
Confirmed, but only once in the mailmerge send as mail UI [1], versus how many correct for "PDF Document"? Even the UI exposed Send -> 'Email as PDF' is correct. So pretty trivial. But yes "Adobe" should be eliminated here in the UI, and the translation string adjusted. =-ref-= [1] https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/sw/uiconfig/swriter/ui/mmresultemaildialog.ui?r=c10c3243&mo=11844&fi=216#216
