There are plans to upgrade to a new version of Bugzilla when that comes out, which should bring many improvements. No plans to move to GitHub at the moment. In any case (and at the risk of disappointing you with yet another platform, sorry!), this kind of request about infrastructure needs to be opened on Redmine: https://redmine.documentfoundation.org Note however that I doubt the idea will get much traction.
