Description Fahad Al-Saidi 2023-04-28 06:03:48 UTC
Description:
This follows #34058 . Right now, DeepL doesn't support Arabic and many more languages. I think if LibreOffice can be more agnostic and accepting different providers other than DeepL, it will solve this problem.

The DeepL integration should now support the following languages:

As of today, here are some languages that are among the most spoken in the world (more than 80 million speakers[1]) and notably missing from DeepL:

- Hindi
- Arabic
- Bengali
- Urdu
- Nigerian Pidgin
- Marathi
- Telugu
- Tamil
- Yue Chinese
- Vietnamese
- Tagalog
- Wu Chinese

Supporting LibreTranslate, which is Open Source and supports some of this, would help: https://libretranslate.com/
