Description Eyal Rozenberg 2023-05-16 17:42:39 UTC
On the menus, under View | Grid and Helplines, we can enable "Helplines while moving" - a cross of two horizontal and and two vertical lines for the bounding-box edges of the selected object being moved. These makes it easier to place the object somewhere now, or to keep it aligned/level.

It would be nice if we also had another helpline, perhaps more faint, in the center of the shape on each axis. This is useful when you're wondering where the shape center will end up, rather than being more worried about the edge.

Se related issue about marking the center on the ruler.
