Description Eyal Rozenberg 2023-08-29 23:00:07 UTC
When I set the background of a table or a table cell in Impress, there is no option to set the background's transparency; and there should be.

I'm not exactly sure what we have in ODF in this respect; here is the pointer:

https://docs.oasis-open.org/office/OpenDocument/v1.3/os/part3-schema/OpenDocument-v1.3-os-part3-schema.html#__RefHeading__1416332_253892949

Remembering that in Impress, table styles aren't actual styles (see bug 151264), I'm not quite sure what that means. Be that as it may - transparency for tables should be supported.

Should be -> enhancement.

@Eyal, is this the same issue as the one you reported on Bug 142801? If not, can you clarify the difference? I set the status to NEEDINFO. Please set back to UNCONFIRMED once you respond. Thanks!

Yes, it is! I forgot I'd filed that one! Sorry :-(
