Description Thomas Groover 2023-09-15 04:59:19 UTC
Description:
characters italicized are chopped, clipped, amputated, truncated on the upper right on the included .odt file

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load into Writer the included file < the_J_hat.odt >
2.you will see upper left J circumflex characters, and the characters to the right are truncated in the file as-is.
3. The characters can be cut and pasted in the line with variable results. Spaces can be inserted between them and deleted and sometimes the truncation will happen and then sometimes the truncation will disappear with added and deleted spaces. sometimes a character with a space after will, when the character is inserted after the space, will go from untruncated to truncated

Actual Results:
The characters are truncated

Expected Results:
characters not truncated

Reproducible: Always

A direct format Menu/Format/Character/Position/Spacing – 'Character spacing' for the letters following those with the issue is set up to 0 instead 0,4 for the others.

Select all [Ctrl+A], clean the direct format [Ctrl+M] and apply italics, they are good for me.
