Created attachment 189599 [details] Ghost cursors remaining in many edited lines When I edit different lines of a simple text (moving up and down with the keyboard arrows and inserting or deleting letters), a static cursor remains in many lines that I've edited, so I can have e.g. a dozen static cursors on the screen at the same time. Please see the attached picture. The ghost cursors disappear when I scroll the page up or down. ---------------------------------- I work with Windows 11; I wonder why it says "Windows 10" in the information about my LibreOffice (see the attached picture). I don't know the kind of hardware I have, whether x86 IA32, x86-64 AMD64, or another. My LibreOffice version is 7.5.5.2 and is set in spanish language. I use the font Times New Roman, 12 pt. I always work with .docx, but this shouldn't have anything to do, the ghost cursors are an editing issue.
1. Go to Tools -> Options -> View 2. Press Copy Skia.log and post the log info here' 3. Check Force Skia software Rendering and press OK (and restart)
Thank you for the report. This is most likely bug 153306 and should be resolved in a current master build: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html Can you please confirm? If not, please set back to "unconfirmed". *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 153306 ***
- I confirm it's a duplicate of bug 153306. - I've checked the box "Force Skia Software Rendering" in Tools/Options/LibreOffice/View, as Telesto told me; Telesto is right, the bug is now fixed! Many thanks. - And Stéphane Guillou says it will be definitely fixed in the current master build and future versions. So at least for me, the bug is solved.
