Description David Liontooth 2023-09-17 14:39:01 UTC
Description:
When selecting "File Save" or "File Save As", ctrl-v does not work in the file name field. Instead you have to use right-click mouse.

I don't know which LibreOffice component is responsible for this functionality -- maybe Filters and storage? MS Word and any other programs allow ctrl-v for paste in file dialogues, so it's clearly possible.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a Save dialog
2. In the file name field, press ctrl-v to paste a file name

Actual Results:
Nothing happens -- you have you right-click and select Paste

Expected Results:
Ctrl-v should paste whatever is in the paste buffer

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I have used LibreOffice for a decade or more and this has never worked.

This is a duplicated of https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126638 which sadly is a long-standing bug with LibreOffice on macOS and so far unresolved.
