In English once we add a word to a dictionary, it will be recognized in the future cause there's no inflection...
But in other languages, such as Hungarian, the word itself is just the base, and the spellcheck script will most of the times identify it as unknown when an ending is attached... (suffix)

It would be great if once we add "word" to dictionary, common "endings" in that language would also be recognized...

This sure adds an extra level of complexity to the whole...
I don't know how it could be done,
but one possibility may be that
when "word" is already part of the dictionary,
only the ending would be underlined for correction...
and when we add that to the dictionary, it will be a new word+ending variation... belonging to "word"...

But even in Hungarian, with lots of suffixes, all of suffixes could be added to the dictionary, per default, easily...

Thank you for the suggestion.

I would call this a duplicate of bug 151914, in that it requests the option to add entries that allow a number of suffixes, using the corresponding syntax used in such dictionary files.
The difference here is that you propose a syntax that I suspect more users would be familiar with (i.e. an asterisk to allow anything to follow a string).

Please feel free to add you own comment there.

László, would you agree that would be the way to go for Hungarian too?

Since LibreOffice 6.0, it's possible to specify a dictionary word for every custom word to allow affixation and compound word support:
