Description Eyal Rozenberg 2023-10-02 09:42:29 UTC
With the resolution of bug 103064, comments can now have a paragraph style.

The PS can have a paragraph directed RTL, LTR or inherit the "superordinate object"'s direction. For paragraphs - that object is the page, or rather the page sequence, whose style includes a direction.

For comments, however, it seems no superordinate object is defined, and the "superordinate object direction" is hard-coded as LTR (see bug 103064 comment 63).

Instead, let's make comments inherit the relevant page sequence' direction as well.

Sounds reasonable
