Description Fabio 2023-10-18 10:27:33 UTC
Description:
Selecting the "Check for updates..." command from "help" menu > THE FIRST TIME AFTER UPDATE OR NEW INSTALL < will display "Check for updates" window with error in status instead of correct update status reporting. The issue disappears the SECOND TIME the "Check for updates..." is selected after closing the "Check for updates" window or by quitting and relaunching LibreOffice.
Note: in my experience this issue has been ALWAYS present across all LibreOffice previous releases as well

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run LibreOffice the FIRST TIME after fresh install or update
2. select "help" menu > "Check for updates..."

Actual Results:
error - no update status reported in "Check for updates" window

Expected Results:
Version up to date or new version update should be displayed

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OS is 64bit: no
