Tried fr website: https://www.apple.com/fr/search/libreoffice?src=globalnav: not listed However, the US version doesn't list it either: https://www.apple.com/us/search/libreoffice?src=globalnav It is true that LibreOffice does not come up in the list, but I am unsure how apps are indexed and/or curated. Regarding the actual Mac App Store on macOS Ventura 13.2.1 , I can confirm that: - LibreOffice is the first result in the Australian app store - LibreOffice is not listed in the French app store So I confirm the issue (although Bugzilla is not where such issues should be tracked, Redmine is the place). This is likely related to an extra legal requirement that prevented us to make the app available at the same time as other countries. Cloph, any news on this, and would you like me to move this to a Redmine ticket?
It still isn't listed in the French appstore with macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 (24B91) I was led to understand (dev-ml or maybe FR-QA ml) that this was due to a lack of certification/validation by ANSSI, the French government cybersecurity authority, which "prevented" Apple from listing it for French users. There was talk of this being moved forward by the BoD, but I don't know what has happened, given the current climate and previous stagnation, so it may be that it is just another area where things have been stalled/put on the back burner.

You are correct: the French government added a huge amount of regulatory compliance work: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice/2023-February/089977.html The regulatory filing looks like a lot of work and I assume that TDF staff have little if any experience preparing detailed regulatory filings like this so I would guess that the BoD might need to contract the work out or hire additional staff if they deem the work to be worth the cost. This issue isn't the only new regulatory requirements in the Mac App Store: the EU has imposed new requirements on "traders" that must be submitted before TDF can release a new version in the Mac App Store. From what I understanding, that is what is blocking Mac App Store updates in all countries: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice/2024-November/092704.html
