Powerpoint 1 that gives problems

When using powerpoint presentations as a starting point for my own, I often experience that the formatting in master slides is somehow reset to standard formatting. I will attach two powerpoint files that have this problem. It surfaces the following way:

Open the ppt file
Save as odt
Click on the slide that says "title and content"
Right click on slides overview and click "new slide"

Result: the new slide has a different formatting from the slide it should have been created from

Expected result: the new slide should have the same formatting as the original slide.

Reason: the formatting in the master slides is different from the appearance of the slides themselves.

I don't have MS Office to check whether the format styles are actually correct, but when using Office 365 (I have a ms account), creating a new slide does not give me any problems, that's why I suspect it is a problem within Libreoffice.

Repro with attachment 192056 [details].

If I select Slide 2 and right-click - New Slide, the created slide has black text with a smaller font for the title box and the content box has "Double-click to add an Object" without the ability to type into the box.

Already seen in 5.2 and 3.5.
