Create New text documwnt in Writer - Format - Watermark... - in the field "Text" enter any text you like, for example, "AnyText" and press Ok button. Now wee see watermark on our page, but list of Undo operations (Ctrl+Z) is empty and we can't Undo adding a watermark. But Writer realizes that changes were done in the document (file can't be closed without a dialog box with a suggestion to Save changes to document).

I can confirm this bug. Also present in the 24.2 and 24.8 series.

What I found to be strange is that even if I type some text, and add a watermark, the undo is not available even for text, which is what I think is more critical, maybe I have deleted some text before, and I need to undo, at least the text part.

No need to enter any text, just press the OK button.
