When "Experimental features" are enabled, a new "Basic IDE" entry is shown in the Options dialog. It contains options for code completion, autoclosing parenthesis and quotes, etc. These features have been hidden in "experimental mode" for so long. I think it's time we make them widely available, so that we can get real feedback from users. If we leave them as experimental, most people will never know they exist.
+1 from me
+1 for me too. Would be good to do that early in the 24.8 cycle so it can get some attention from QA.
