When the attached file is displayed in PowerPoint (on Windows, using PowerPoint 365 version 2312) the background image is centred, such that the 'sun' part of the image is vertically and horizontally in the centre (at least approximately) of that which one sees. In Impress, the image gets shifted such that it is considerably off-centre. Or rather the shifting happens in presentation mode (accessed via F5) - when the slide is displayed in editing mode, it displays as it should. I can supply details of the monitor (a non-external, laptop monitor), and of my operating system, if necessary. The problem is a headache for importing (/displaying) PowerPoint files.
I guess you forgot to attach the file. Click "Add an attachment" and upload a sample file for testing. Thanks
