Description Thomas C. 2024-04-01 11:32:58 UTC
I can put a background color in a cell, but if I want to modify a cell by removing the background color, put no color, then LibreOffice entire crashes completely, without error message and stops. Then retrieve the documents and redo the work that was not saved. I have version 7.6.6.3 (x86_64)

I opened LibreOffice in safe mode, I opened a blank Calc file, I selected three cells to give them a yellow background. Then I selected one of the three cells, to remove this yellow background. And there, LibreOffice crashed, without error message and closed completely. Do you need me to send you a Calc file that contains only three yellow cells?

Again, please paste here the information on Menu/Help/About LibreOffice (There is an icon to copy)

Thank you for the report.
This is likely linked to bug 157203.

Can you please:
- paste here the information copied from Help > About LibreOffice, as suggested by m_a_riosv
- tell us if you use the Tabbed Interface? Do you have the same issue when using the default toolbar interface?
- test version 24.2 and let us know if the issue persists.

Thank you!

The problem is the same on two different computers, whether I use the method with the right click, or the method with the default toolbar. I have not installed LibreOffice version 24.
