Description: A simple converted pptx presentation shows well in PowerPoint. However, when trying to change some bullet levels, things are messed up. This does not arise with a converted ppt presentation. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the attached text.odp (simple presentation with some bullets of different levels) 2. Convert the presentation to pptx and ppt format 3. Open test.pptx 3a. Position the cursor at the end of "Text 1" and press Enter, then Tab to add a new lower bullet level: the cursor becomes tiny and the font size becomes very small. Pressing Tab several times doesn't do anything (no new bullet level added) 3b. Do the same at the end of "Text 3" or "Text 4" or "Text 5": the new bullet and text have the correct size but Tab doesn't do anything (no new bullet level added) 4. Open test.ppt and do the same as in points a and b. New bullet levels with correct size are created as expected Note that ppt format has many issues with graphics formats conversion, so sticking with this format is not a viable solution. Actual Results: Expected Results: Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: LibreOffice version (fresh profile): Version: 24.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 420(Build:2) CPU threads: 48; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Ubuntu package version: 4:24.2.2~rc2-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo1 Calc: threaded System: Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS 64 bits

I used PowerPoint 2016 in Windows 10 to do the tests.
I can't reproduce the small font in (3a), but I can see that Tab has no effect. Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 658a212585c56540a17c41111e6829716d4ef4e3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US ...as well as 24.2.3.2 and 7.2.0.4, but not in 7.1.0.3 -> regression. ...PPTX opened in MS 365.
Hello, I observed the issue in 7.1: 062dcd9049c6a969aee24685350fac959be03ee9 is the first bad commit commit 062dcd9049c6a969aee24685350fac959be03ee9 Author: libreoffice <libreoffice@libreoffices-Mac-mini.local> Date: Sat Oct 24 15:53:07 2020 +0200 source a0f282f57213c4318c1de10d74ee43b850886147 I used the provided 'test.odp' file, saved it as both 'pptx' and 'ppt' formats, and checked the bullet functionality in both converted files. I did not observe any issues in the 'ppt' format, but I did observe the reported issue in the 'pptx' format. Environment: • LibreOffice version: 7.1 • OS: macOS • Git version: 2.47.0 Please let me know if you need more information. Sincerely, Chika
Hello, I re-tested the issue in both 7.1 and 7.2. I didn’t observe the issue in 7.1 this time, but I did observe it in 7.2: 637f2566fe2893c6d168295e789913694b05019c is the first bad commit commit 637f2566fe2893c6d168295e789913694b05019c (HEAD) Author: libreoffice <libreoffice@libreoffices-Mac-mini.local> Date: Wed May 19 02:44:04 2021 +0200 source b6b02e0b4c9d739836e1f61a886ea45b01e6696e I used the provided 'test.odp' file, used the CL “LibreOffice.app/Contents/MacOS/soffice --convert-to pptx --outdir ~/Downloads ~/Downloads/test.odp” to convert it to pptx, and checked the bullet functionality in converted pptx files. Environment: • LibreOffice version: 7.2 • OS: macOS • Git version: 2.47.0 My apologies for the confusion. Please disregard my previous comment (Comment 6). Please let me know if you need more information. Sincerely, Chika
