Example document

When changing the indent settings of list items, there could be a good idea to create a new style using these new indent settings by selecting a list item and click "new style from selection". But when doing so, the selected list item changes style to the default. However the style is created. The style settings looks good. But when applied to a new list, it doesn't take the settings from the style.
And even worse, after applying the style, when creating a new list item, the new list item gets yet another style.

Please see the attached document. It tells all steps how to reproduce, and shows the results on the way there.

Marli, not sure, if I did the correct steps:

My steps:
1. Open a new document
2. Toggle ordered List and write some text
3. Format → Paragraph → Indent: Before -1,00 cm and first line 0 cm
4. Select that list
5. In Styles deck of the sidebar click "List Styles"
6. Styles Action -> New Style from selection

Actual result
Indent changes

Expected result
Indent should remain and should be part of the new style

Additional informaton
Same result with paragraph style

Marli, do these steps describe your problem?

Perhaps the root problem is that "New Style from Selection" does always create a paragraph style (see bug 151563)
