Actual Results: Navigator window opens centered on document Expected Results: Navigator window opens centered on document even if previously set to a different position and size. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Navigator window opens in it's last saved position or centered on document if no previous position was set.
I'n not able to reproduce the issue Version: 24.2.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 433d9c2ded56988e8a90e6b2e771ee4e6a5ab2ba CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
I'm running Fedora 40 and the problem persists. i haven't tried with Windows. Perhaps the problem is unique to Linux or this version of Fedora.
I tried my backup computer which is running Fedora 39 with Libreoffice 7.6.6.3 and it works properly. The Navigation pane opens in the last saved position. I updated to Libreoffice 7.6.7.2 and it also works as expected. I updated to Fedora 40, which uses Libreoffice 24.2.3.2 and it always resets the Navigation pane to centered on the document whenever switching between two open documents. I tried installing 7.6.7 and it also resets the Navigation pane to centered. The problem may be related to OS changes between Fedora 39 and 40.
Thanks for the report, Phillip. I assume you use the default GNOME desktop environment, and therefore use the gtk3 VCL plugin. (Please share the full version information copied from Help > About LibreOffice.) Seems to be the same problem as bug 159948. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 159948 ***
