Description: In Calc the cell comments box, if created, grows over time to become very large with all blank space, even if no further text is added. An adequate sized comment box is created and there may be just 2 lines of text but the comment box grows in size as the file is opened and closed. It eventually gets so large as to cover much of the page Steps to Reproduce: 1.Insert comment 2.Add text. Adjust comment box to desired size 3.Hide comment. Re-open file several times Actual Results: Comment box hides as an appropriate size but after several days using the file, when "Show Comment" is used the box has become very large with mostly empty space. If the box is resized and hidden, it still grows over time when shown again. Expected Results: A comment sized to the users requirements should remain that set size even after many "Show" and "Hide" Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-GB Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no
I could not reproduce. I edited the file, made the comment hidden, saved and reloaded and repeated this several times, but the comment did not grow. To be clear, you are able to reproduce this immediately and not only after several days? Could you test with a daily master build, Win-x86_64@tb77-TDF from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html ? It installs separately.
