Description: If I drag an image to the bottom of the screen it moves everything way to quickly. Work is almost impossible. If I check for updates 24.2.5 isn't shown. It just says latest update installed already. I only found out the was a new version by coming here to report this and seeing there was another release. But the scrolling problem is the biggest problem for me as it's work related. I can manually check updates if needed. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Copy table info with pictures from the web and paste it into Calc 2.The pics are all squished together so drag image to correct place after setting row width to correct size. 3.The speed is way too fast T-T Everything is just jumping on drag. Actual Results: The auto scroll is way too fast and no setting fix this. I have even tried different mice without smooth scroll or auto scroll on. Expected Results: I can easily drag and the screen scrolls at a usable speed Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows 11 OS is 64bit: yes 51a6219feb6075d9a4c46691dcfe0cd9c4fff3c2

Tested by copying flags from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flags_of_the_U.S._states_and_territories It's the same quick speed already in 4.3 on Windows when dragging image beyond the visible rows. I think it's a matter of taste somewhat and can be handled by zooming out. Some people might be furious, if the scrolling speed got slower. Let's ask design team.
We have a META ticket for this and a gazillion requests (I suggest to duplicate some. My take: the scrolling speed depends on the distance to the edge of the viewport. Starting very slow at 50px, or so, away and speeding up at the very bottom (or top).
I have 3 monitors. I'll check if it's the same on one tonight. But it is impossible to drag an image now as it just scroll way too fast T-T
It was more like jumping than scrolling making work impossible before. I just grabbed an image and dragged it to below the onscreen area but it would jump pages. Version: 25.8.1.1 (X86_64) Build ID: 54047653041915e595ad4e45cccea684809c77b5 CPU threads: 36; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded This version doesn't have the same dragging problem but the dotted page lines aren't dark enough to see properly when dragging. How can we darken them or increase the contrast ratio?

How can we darken > them or increase the contrast ratio? Nice to hear it works. Based on what you now say, I think I never saw the jumping behaviour myself. Please open a new report for the dashed line contrast topic. From what I can see testing with a bunch of versions, it is not a new style. I do note that for some reason the opacity of the dashes is uneven, both on Linux and Windows. Even this phenomenon goes back to version 4.3.
