I have a very similar problem to: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145963 In the latest versions of LO. The problem showed up in 24.2.1.2. I downgraded to 7.6.x. But that version doesn't perform very well either. I tried various combinations of Skia/Hardware accel/safe mode and none of them made a difference. I downgraded to 7.3.7.2 and that one is VERY snappy. When I open the same file as I did with versions 7.6.X and 24.X, it's almost instantaneous. The big difference I see is that Dark Mode was introduced in 7.4 and I wonder if that is when the problem was introduced. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to check every version of LO to see when the problem started but I figured I would pout this bug here (actually, I was encouraged to do it in the forums) so it's documented. Here is a video that shows the difference in performance between 7.4.7.2 and 7.5.9.2. https://vento.so/view/b695b1da-c17b-4ad0-9d1d-c7ae9a4db659?utm_medium=share I'm using ODS files with the exact same data in it. I'm attaching it to this report. The biggest difference I see between the two cversions is that Dark mod was added in the 7.5 series.

I took stopwatch time for how long it takes to scroll to the end of the data with down arrow in the document. The time was the same both in dark and light mode: 4 secs. Could you measure it (using your phone's clock app, for example)?
