Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
Do you confirm you got Windows 10 32 bits? I mean, I noticed you used 24.2.3.2 (x86). Could you give a try to LO 24.2.5 64 bits (if you finally got Windows 10 64 bits) from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/ ?
(In reply to m_a_riosv from comment #1) > Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode ah, in safe mode it works. Back to normal mode it crashes.
Test putting in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/View, the same options as in Safe Mode.

(In reply to Hans from comment #3) > ah, in safe mode it works. Back to normal mode it crashes. 3) In that case, please try to backup and delete your user profile and see if it solves the issue. For PortableApps, it should be LibreOfficePortable\Data\settings\user More info: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption Thank you!

By installing the new version from your download (not portable app) everything runs well. I hesitate to reinstall the old program again. If it is very important for you, I would do.

That copies the info to the clipboard. Please paste the info in your next comment.

Based on the difference in the reported hardware (x86 vs x86_64), allow me to doubt that such report would help. Either the portable paf installer was somehow corrupted, or it was not downloaded from the adequate site, or each test was performed on different hardware (in which case, we cannot assume that the problem is specific to the portable installer). Since the OP is fine with the current situation, we should just wait for some similar report.
