@Heiko: this is a proposition for a modified DNA Impress template
Your modifications are an improvement but lead to imbalanced positioning at the small/big circles (with all molecules at the same size it's easy to have them all at the same distance). I'm not against the modification- it's a matter of taste- but personally slightly prefer the more stylized version. Up to you. If you want more opinions I could ask at the design channel.
