Description Jan Saedal 2024-07-28 12:22:53 UTC
Description:
Highlighted text in writer you also underline (same text) look fine in writer, but after exporting to PDF, the pdf doc missing some/all of the underlining.
The text need to be a few lines or more for the fault to happend.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I open a text page in writer, and underlining a verse, then i highlight the same verse and in writer everything look fine.
2. Tried export to pdf/ Export directly to PDF, with same result/fault
3. i open the pdf doc with nitro pro or acrobat reader, then some of the underlinging dissapear. If i only underline or highlight the text, then everything works fine. It.s the combination of underlining/highlighting and exporting as pdf that makes the fault

Actual Results:
Not possible to paste or import file here to show the fault.I can send doc to you that show the fault if you mail me with return adress. Tried 100 of times, always the same fault. I have underlined bible text for years, but i also wanted to highlight underlined text, so then in the final pdf doc, the fault always come in all underlined/highlighted verses on the page. Doesn't matter witch PDF reader i use to open the pdf doc

Expected Results:
i expect the writer doc to stay the same when exported to PDF

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Been like this for a long time, same fault on all computers and versions of libreoffice i have been using for a few years back. Never worked for me

Please attach a sample file(s), reduce the size as much as possible without private information, and paste in the answer the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.

test libreoffice doc, open it in writer and export to pdf, then compare to see fault

open the text file in libreoffice writer, then export as pdf. Open the pdf version and compare to writer version. Verse10 in pdf version lost most of the underlining
Only happend when underlining and highlighting the same text.

Reproducible
Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 233af54afb6e493c3538efe7c93d0f53f1b4c3ab
CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 22631); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

Rebuilding paragraph format after clear the format [Ctrl+M] doesn't solve the issue.
