Description: Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug or a missing functionality. It could be fixed both ways. The missing functionality would be: "send outline to clipboard (down to level 2)" -- or something better sounding and briefer :) This functionality could be right below "send outline to clipboard", as a special version of it. 2 The other approach is the "bug fix"... IN this, "Send Outline to Clipboard" should work according to the "Outline Level" that is set at the moment... and determines the view in NAVIGATOR... Say, you see levels down to 2, cause 2 is the current value set in "Outline Level"... Then the exported "outline" should be have only levels 1 and 2, that is, down "to 2"... Steps to Reproduce: 1. "F5", open navigator window, in "heading view" 2. in context menu set "Outline Level" to be "2" 3. Send OUtline to Clipboard Actual Results: The exported / "sent" / "generated" outline has the level depth of 10, that is, all levels are exported / sent. The Outline Level (that is set to 2) has no influence on the "depth level" of the exported / generated outline. Expected Results: When "Outline Level" is set to 2, the exported outline should have the "depth" at 2... //////// NOTE: for layman users this could be misleading... or even for users who in the past decades have learned that exporting the outline will always contain the whole of it, all levels, not just what was set in the viewing mode... This is why a an extra menu item, send "outline to clipboard (at depth: 2)" -- or something better -- would be a way more intuitive and "backward user-compatible" solution of this "problem" -- if this is a problem :) (as I think it is) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes
