Description harvey 2024-08-08 15:01:25 UTC
Description:
It is suggested to extend the 'Document Information' feature for Queries and Tables, similar to that for Forms and Reports, but more in the sense of an editable comment field.

Actual Results:
'Document' feature of Tables and Queries is useful bit has no possibility for the user to document purpose of the objects, dependencies between them, and other comments to help the user to reduce error proneness.

Expected Results:
'Document Information' feature should be supplied for Tables and Queries but also extended for all 4 object types (Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports) to allow the user to add personal notes.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Using the 'document Information' for the above purpose is just a suggestion, there may be another device that would fulfil similar purpose.

Shows document info for a form.

Document information is read from the separate documents inside the Base file. This are Writer documents. You could add informations here while editing a form by File → Properties. This informations will be shown in Base GUI if you choose "Document Information". Default is "None".

There is no possibility at this moment to input such an information for tables and queries. So there is also no possibility to show informations. Would be good to show this informations at the same place.

This feature has never been implemented. So I set version to "Inherited From OOo"
