Description Laurent Balland 2024-08-09 16:16:51 UTC
Description:
Nature_Illustration is one of the only Impress template (with Vintage) to use a slide ratio of 4:3. It could easily converted in 16:9, if background pictures were transformed in shapes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new presentation with the template chooser
2. Check previews

Actual Results:
Nature_Illustration has a different slide ration than other templates

Expected Results:
All templates should have the same slide ratio

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Whereas Vintage is much difficult to transform, pictures of Nature_Illustration template are made with simple shapes and could be transformed. Then changing slide ratio would require to transform the shapes.

This proposition is the result of:
- converting background pictures in shapes

- change ratio

I don't think that all templates need to be 16:9, there might be scenarios where you want the classic format. And actually we provide an option to switch. And for this function it makes a lot of sense to shapify the background.

OK => WF
I keep converting background images in shapes and abandoned change ratio in 16:9
