Please attach a sample file, reduce the size as much as possible without private information, and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.

Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode

Test modifying Skia options in
Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/View

Also try to update the graphics driver from the vendor.

Tested in safe mode, tried all skia options, no update for the video driver - same results.

Only the first time I open the file, I can see the issue with horizontal scrolling.
Version: 24.8.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

After change the Skia option of 'Force Skia software rendering, I'm not able to reproduce again the issue even after activate the option again.

I'm not able to reproduce it even after restart the computer.
Comment 11 mcj.painter 2024-08-18 19:16:03 UTC
I can reproduce the problem, and it doesn't matter whether 'Force Skia software rendering" is checked or not.

In the 4.4 change, the tracing with horizontal scrolling started from the edges of the canvas. The tracing behaviour changed to the current one where everything in the visible canvas leaves a trace in 7.5 with 96880f5af713a55d87556af30a08b5f09f00ba48
tdf#152094 don't attempt scroll paint optimization for devices with a mapmode

I tested by zooming in so there is room to scroll and then View - Web.
