Problem observed some time (a few days) after updating to 24.8.0.3, can't say for sure if related to update or not. Description "Suddenly" LibreOffice Draw does not respect settings to use metric units of measurement. This applies to freshly created and existing drawings alike. Changing the LO setting to something new and then setting it back to the original value corrects this, but the change is temporary and does not survive beyond (saving and) closing the drawing. Preconditions * System locale set to English language, metric units * Tools | Options | Libreoffice Draw | General: Unit of measurement = Centimeter Steps to reproduce 1a. Create new drawing in Draw ...or... 1b. Open existing drawing in Draw 2a. Draw a shape ...or... 2b. Select an existing shape 3. Press F4 to get dimensions dialog 4. All measurements are in inches Steps to fix temporarily 1. Drawing open in Draw 2. Open Tools | Options | Libreoffice Draw | General 3. Change Unit of measurement = Millimeter 4. Close dialog 5. Open dimensions dialog for shape 6. Measurements are now shown in millimeters 7. Change Unit of measurement back to Centimeter 8. Measurements are now shown in centimeters 9. Saving does not make the (refreshed) setting stick

Definitely seems related. I'll revisit this to confirm, once I get the new release.
Seems fixed in 24.8.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community; Flatpak; Linux 6.11
