*Any* design decision that depends on localizable string length is simply invalid. Here, it would possibly be better if the placeholder text just would fit automatically, not try to expand the frame - even if the frame is set otherwise to resize to fit text. So this could be a bug. Of course, a small shortening of the translation could be possible, like "Нажмите, чтобы добавить текст", but that's not useful.

I agree that it is ugly when you first look at this slide. I will propose to set autosize to placeholder, and to enlarge them if possible. Anyway, this ugly aspect disappears as soon as you enter text.

I checked all other new template versions, there are a pair of problems there: Freshes template - 8th and 9th slides still have "lorem ipsum" items Growing liberty template - 5th slide still has "lorem ipsum" items

However, for slide 9 (table), I was not able to remove Lorem texts. I could not insert placeholders inside the table. And let placeholders over the table is not useful. Shall we simply drop this table? @Heiko: some UX feedback would be welcome :-)

I pushed Freshes in master, and open bug 163116 to fix this bug (pb with too long titles in placeholders) and separate the bug of remaining Lorem text.
