Could you provide minimum step by step process to reproduce the crash?
Comment 2 Lera 2024-09-18 08:47:41 UTC
I got this crash several times but couldn't recognise any special trigger for it.

Ok, could you try https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile ?
Comment 4 Lera 2024-09-18 10:55:12 UTC
Thank you for your advice! The problem persists in the Safe Mode too. This time it happened by scrolling the file.

Ok does it happen with any file or some specific files?

For example, if you create a brand new file and use https://fr.lipsum.com/ to generate a dozen of pages, does it crash when scrolling?

If only specific files, would it be possible you attach one (after sanitization, see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/Sanitizing_Files_Before_Submission) by using this link https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=163013&action=enter ?

I'm using a certain file and it happens usually after 2-3 hours of work. Last time after crash the programm wasn't starting at all for a while running the loading screen again and again. It could also be a Windows issue, I don't know.

I will check, thank you.

It seems to be bug 162911, which was fixed in 24.8.2. Can you try that version?
