hi, We should be able to see font type and size in those dropdowns... as well as we should see all info in the "properties (Atlt +1) pane... I'm talking about styles, it goes without saying. And I'm talking about subdocuments being present in the MD as "read only" ... Of course, the dropdown can be grayed out, "fixed"... not changeable... I'm certain that we agree that it is against nature that we need to edit the style to see its attributes :) PS: as to the properties pane (Alt+1), it show s the info: "body text"... but that's all. The style attributes are unavailable. - - - thank you for developing Libreoffice... and Writer! - - -
Have tested it. Properties in sidebar switches to style for font in subdocument. This will be shown greyed out. Properties for Spacing and Indent will be shown also, but won't be shown greyed out. Is writable but shouldn't be writable at all! Properties won't be shown for Character and Paragraph. Property for character will show the last font, which has been choosen in the master document and is writable. Version: 24.8.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0f794b6e29741098670a3b95d60478a65d05ef13 CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Will set this one as NEW and importance to "normal", because there are different buggy behaviors for master document. By the way: You won't need a master document for reproducing the buggy behavior. Create a TOC and set it "Protected against manual changes". Would show the same buggy behavior: Font wrong, no font size, paragraph formatting not shown but Spacing and Ident are shown an could be changed - in a protected TOC.
