Description: In an extremely frustrating turn of events I have, once again, found that Libre Office fails to meet the baseline expectations instilled in my by over a decade of working with Open Office. God I wish I could go back, but, OO doesn't even work well on Linux, and MS ruined their OS. So I just sit here being extraordinarily annoyed by how bad Libre Office is and welling up with tears when something like this happens and searching google fails to actually find solutions, instead, again, LibreOffice comes at me with Tod Howard energy, "It's a Feature, not a Bug." Of course, the search shows others have had the issue, and apparently it's been "in the pipeline" as long as 6 months ago. But, when creating multiple lines in a cell in Calc, it forces "Wrap text automatically", causing the cell to balloon in size until it is larger than the entire Libre Office window, then you have to go back to that cell and disable wrap, but if any edits must be made to that cell IT HAPPENS AGAIN! Rinse, wash, repeat. And when working on 40+ cells that all have the issue on the same window of Calc. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA` Steps to Reproduce: 1.Put data in a cell 2. add a line split in the cell with ctrl+enter 3. add more data into the line 4. leave the cell Actual Results: force activates "Wrap text automatically" causing an extreme increase to the size of the cell Expected Results: To not activate "Wrap text automatically" and only produce an increase in the size of the cell relative to the number of line splits intentionally placed in the cell. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes
