Elements have been coloured according to the theme colour palette (e.g. accent 1 & accent 4). Initially, the colours of all elements are changed as soon as a new theme is selected. After reopening the document, only text colours are changed. Frame colours remain in the colour of the previously selected theme. This is also the case when using document templates.

Created attachment 197037 [details] more detailed description of the problem I hope this helps in some way. It is only a very small error, but it severely restricts the use of document templates.
IIANM, the MS style Themes feature must be applied from the main menu Format -> Themes dialog. Not sure using the color picker as DF fully styles with the color themes. With test doc attachment 197036 [details], when I make a Theme selection using the dialog, that change in colors does make the round trip on document save/close reopen. Didn't check as OOXML since this should be an applicable framework within ODF documents.
