Description mi_bugzilla 2024-10-12 21:04:18 UTC
Description:
I created an .ods file with 8 columns with a header. The first two columns contain small images(copied from the browser) that are anchored to the cell and then right clicked and "Fit to Cell Size". Then the Autofilter was turned on and some filters applied 4th and 8th column. Saved the file and then closed Calc.

When I open Calc again, on FILEOPEN the .ods file some of the images dont appear. When I change one of the filter conditions, the images appear. If I remove the filter conditions(so as to go to the same conditions the file had at the start) the images appear.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the file that contains the pasted images.
2.Scrolling down shows the rows where the images are not appearing.
3.Changing the filter options on any column makes the images appear.
4.Restoring the filter options to the original ones still shows the images.

Actual Results:
Some of the images that were pasted on the document do not appear. You need to change the filtering conditions to make them appear.

Expected Results:
All the images that were pasted and anchored to a cell should still be shown when reopening the document.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Immediately after opening the file(and not seeing the images), if I export the document to a pdf I still cant see the images in the exported document.

This is the file with the issue. When opened the rows 16, 19, 27, 30 and 33 dont show the images.

I was able to reproduce this issue in version:
Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 54a836fa5af3428d893cffe5d7a0963b092e9f70
CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 22631); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

I also see the same rows blanked - 16, 19, 27, 30 and 33

In attempt to further investigate I tried:
1) rather that changing a filter I turned off auto filter entirely - this also successfully shows the images in rows 16, 19, 27, 30 and 33
2) adding a marker (text or a number) to row 16,column I (also included in auto filter) but if I copied (cntrl-c) the text to mark the other rows Calc hung/not responding. This happened 3 times.
