In Writer, we can have the text boundaries visualized on the page; in Writer, Impress and Draw, we can have table and cell boundaries visualized, even when there are no cell/table borders; and these options are toggleable. However - we are missing a toggle for visualization of the text boundaries within a textbox, i.e. the rectangle whose sides are at distance "spacing to borders" from the relevant bounding box. Such a visualization should be visible always, i.e. not only when the text is being edited. Related but not the same request: bug 155519.
Not an extra option but enabled with Text Boundaries. Sure there is no similar request?
(In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #1) > Not an extra option but enabled with Text Boundaries. Well, that would only work in Writer; slides and Draw pages don't have text boundaries. But I don't mind it being the same option where it's possible. > Sure there is no similar request? I searched the Textbox-blocking tree and couldn't find one.
