Description Guido Grüning 2024-10-23 16:55:27 UTC
Description:
Insert two or more nested frames on a page.
In the property settings the size of the frame is set relative to the parent frame. When closing the settings the frame is displayed as expected. When reopening the settings again the value of the size has been changed. After closing the settings without any modification the frame is displayed differnetly.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Insert a frame (frame1) on a page.
2.Property setting - Position and Size
  - anker at page
  - Width and Hight set to 100% and 50% relativ
  - Ok
3.Insert a frame (frame2) within frame1.
4.Property setting - Position and Size
  - anker at frame
  - Width and Hight set to 75% and 75% relativ
  - Ok
5.The frames are shown correctly
6.Open the setting of frame2
  - Width and Hight are now not the same as set in Step 4 (it looks like the values are now related to the page)
  - no manuel modification
  - Ok
7.The frame2 is display with differen size (smaller as before)

Actual Results:
see step 7

Expected Results:
see step 5

Reproducible: Always

Could confirm the buggy behavior. When opening the second frame width and height will be changed without new user input.

Could also see this behavior in LO 6.4.7.2 - seems it is a very old bug, might be inherited by OOo.
