Screenshots with different UIs

In Windows Styles is a new UI for paragraph etc. 
The old UI is set, wehn i activate Spotlight
same to UI for character styles: new : default, activatee spotlight: old UI.

Not seeing an issue. Is your complaint that the height of the Style "preview" in the listing is taller when the Spotlight feature is enabled?

If you need the listing at the same height, uncheck the 'Show previews' feature.

I noticed that when activating Spotlight, the effects of bug 163731 go away, as hinted in the attached ODT.

Susanne: please, we are still waiting for a proper explanation from you.

Based on your first comment and the ODT you attached, you are talking about bug 163731, which got fixed today.

However, your summary "Styles spotlight color mark not displayed in all GUI toolkits" is confusing me, because it seems to be talking about something completely different. When you say "GUI toolkits", it makes me think you are testing with Windows, macOS and Linux and that some of these do not display the color mark when Spotlight is active. Yet, you only show screenshots from Windows and I don't know what the issues in them would be.

For example, looking at attachment 197355 [details] and not having access to the original document, everything seems fine to me.

in my first Coment there is a document called Screenshots with different UIs.odt- if you open that in LO 25.2 you cal see the different UIs in the styles window, when activate or deactivate spotlight. 
Its not really functional bug, but LO Writer does ot look fine!
